Hello, my name is Catalina and I live and work in the Aconcagua Valley in Chile. I am a full-time professional artist and graphic designer specializing in hyper-realistic pet portraiture.

I started in 2020 to work in the art of pet portraiture and I have more than 200 works made with many hours of work and different types of animals portrayed to this day, among which have been mainly cats and dogs, hedgehogs and rabbits.
I started painting in watercolor technique and over time I leaned towards the pastel technique. I've been doing commissions in both mediums and currently do mostly realism, so I've put my beloved watercolors on hold and brought out my long-sheltered pastel pencils. I am delighted with this technique since I can take advantage of the realistic art that I like so much.
It has been fun working with such opposite techniques, from having to spend long hours wetting brushes and having wet leaves, hands and napkins to constantly having to vacuum my worktop for pastel dust and breathe in the smell of wood. of the lectern and the pencils. ​
