3 POINTS TO CONSIDER
To get the ideal photograph for your portrait
Let's clarify that it is not an obligation to have to get the perfect photograph or have the best camera. Many times I worked with very low quality images but getting very good results, however it is ideal to work with a good basic photograph so I will ask you to look for the best image you have of your pet and if it is still with you it is advisable that you take exclusive photos for the portrait.
» Photos with good lighting:
It can be taken outside or next to a window. The important thing is that the light that reaches your face is ideally natural light.
The light will greatly help your camera to capture the greatest number of colors and sharpness in the subject and therefore you will obtain a higher percentage of details.
Something I love when working on a portrait is having photos with a face that has light and shadow, since the painting looks more realistic and, in my opinion, much more beautiful and colorful.
» Close-up photos:
It is ideal that you position the camera at a distance not so far from your pet, because if you get a good focus the image will be quite sharp.
This will allow me to work on photography optimally on my computer, allowing me to zoom in and see all the details of her face, such as the eye area, the tear ducts, and important details of her gaze, which is the most important in a portrait.
On the other hand, and not as important as the previous point, you must take care of the angle when capturing your images, you can take the photo at the same level as your pet's eyes, and thus you will avoid larger areas of his face, such as the eyes or nose when the picture is taken from high above.
» Focused photography
A well-focused photo means having an image result of maximum resolution, sharpness and contrast.
This will allow me to work in detail on your pet's face and develop a more attractive and realistic work.
